An excellent opportunity exists for a Sales Consultant to join an established Property Investment Business, based in Paarl, Western Cape. The business, with a national property footprint, will provide you as the Sales Consultant with a constant flow of Investment Property Stock as well as pre-qualified Sales Leads. There is therefore no need for sales cold calling or sourcing your own property stock.

The successful incumbent will be responsible to guide pre-qualified property investors / buyers through each investment opportunity as well as the entire buying process. Apart from the actual sales responsibilities, you will also act as account manager for each investor you sign up.

This purely office-based sales position will work in collaboration with the company’s existing sales, marketing, mortgage, and project support teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Present property investment opportunities to prospective investors and clients.
  • Assess the needs of every lead/prospective investor.
  • Supervise the investment procedure with the client.
  • Arrange and verify appointments with clients.
  • Advise primary buyers and investors on expanding their property portfolio.
  • Market investment properties to both novice and experienced investors.
  • Deliver exceptional customer support to clients.
  • Nurture strong client connections.
  • Keep sales databases up to date and handle other administrative tasks.
  • Coordinate and conduct property viewings as needed.
  • Continuously manage client relationships and accounts.
  • Promote other inhouse services.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in some or other professional customer centric sales, account management or customer service work environment.
  • Matric qualification is a must, but a Tertiary qualification will be beneficial.
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional telephonic, email and in-person interpersonal skills
  • Customer centric sales orientated personality.
  • Understanding investments and/or property will be a massive benefit.
  • A passion for people and property.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and personal transportation.

REMUNERATION

  • Basic salary until you are generating sales and a constant commission income stream.
  • Excellent uncapped commission earnings well above market value, from day one.
  • Other benefits and incentives include monthly bonusses, quarterly incentives and vacation bonuses.
