A well-established residential property company is actively seeking a committed Property Repairs & Maintenance Administrator for a permanent position. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the repairs and maintenance team.

The company is located in Somerset West.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Attend to all day-to-day maintenance requests and reported issues
  • General Office Admin
  • Obtain quotations by the responsible parties for damages and repairs on the property
  • Submit quotations to managing agents and insurance for approval.
  • Assign approved contractors.
  • Dealing with contractors on interim and exit inspections.
  • Follow up by contractors for sending necessary documentation on work completed
  • Liaise with tenants / agents / owners / management regarding maintenance queries.
  • Ensure all EXIT inspections are received, scheduled, and completed for your allocated portfolio.
  • Communication to owners regarding insurance claims.
  • Meetings with Building Managers/Caretakers
  • Quarterly site visit with Portfolio Manager or as required

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years experience in a similar position
  • Qualification / Experience in the real estate or Sectional Title environment will be highly advantageous
  • Excellent computer literacy (MS Word & Excel)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English & Afrikaans)
  • Must be able to cope under pressure and have excellent problem solving skills
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with own reliable transport
  • Willing to work after hours if needed
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills

Salary: R14k – R18k p/month, dependent on skills and experience
