A small established financial services business base in Somerset West is seeking to employ an Administrator on a permanent basis. The primary duties are to support the Financial Planner with daily administration tasks and interact with Insurance Companies, Investment platforms and clients.

Responsibilities

  • Process new and existing business (Investments, Risk Business, Medical Aid, Trusts, Estates)
  • Monitor all activities relating to client reviews, requests, and new business.
  • General client liaison
  • Assist with the administration of deceased estates, insurance claims, etc.
  • Work scheduling and diary planning for the Financial Advisor.
  • Electron filing
  • Other relevant admin related tasks

Qualifications

  • Matric / Grade 12 Essential
  • Industry related qualifications will be beneficial
  • RE Exams will be a major advantage or the willingness to pursue these qualifications

Knowledge

  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • General Financial Services/Insurance/Investment Industry knowledge
  • Platforms systems and software of investment platforms and insurance companies, (e.g., Allan Gray, Glacier, Ninety-One, Old Mutual, Discovery, Momentum, Sanlam, etc)
  • Legislation Compliance awareness (FICA / FAIS / FATCA / POPIA / TCF etc.)

Other Competencies and skills

  • Attention to detail, results driven, work independently & problem solver.
  • Client and Service centred approach to work and clients
  • Excellent English and Afrikaans communication skills
  • Own transport

Salary: Negotiable, dependent on skills and experience
