A small established financial services business base in Somerset West is seeking to employ an Administrator on a permanent basis. The primary duties are to support the Financial Planner with daily administration tasks and interact with Insurance Companies, Investment platforms and clients.
Responsibilities
- Process new and existing business (Investments, Risk Business, Medical Aid, Trusts, Estates)
- Monitor all activities relating to client reviews, requests, and new business.
- General client liaison
- Assist with the administration of deceased estates, insurance claims, etc.
- Work scheduling and diary planning for the Financial Advisor.
- Electron filing
- Other relevant admin related tasks
Qualifications
- Matric / Grade 12 Essential
- Industry related qualifications will be beneficial
- RE Exams will be a major advantage or the willingness to pursue these qualifications
Knowledge
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- General Financial Services/Insurance/Investment Industry knowledge
- Platforms systems and software of investment platforms and insurance companies, (e.g., Allan Gray, Glacier, Ninety-One, Old Mutual, Discovery, Momentum, Sanlam, etc)
- Legislation Compliance awareness (FICA / FAIS / FATCA / POPIA / TCF etc.)

- Client and Service centred approach to work and clients
- Excellent English and Afrikaans communication skills
- Own transport
Salary: Negotiable, dependent on skills and experience
