Software Solutions Key Account Manager (Geospatial)

A niche specialist geospatial solutions business is seeking to employ a knowledgeable, energetic and passionate Key Account Manager on a permanent basis. The position will ideally be based from Centurion, Gauteng, but other locations in South Africa will be considered.

Your responsibility will include:

  • Operating as the lead point of contact on major accounts
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new sales opportunities
  • Forecast and track key account metrics
  • Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory
  • Prepare reports on account status

Ideally you should have:

  • Proven work experience as a Software Solutions Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager or relevant role
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
  • Solid experience with CRM software
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts in simple language that explains the business value
  • BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales or relevant field
  • Experience in GIS/Spatial software solutions will be highly desirable.
