A niche specialist geospatial solutions business is seeking to employ a knowledgeable, energetic and passionate Key Account Manager on a permanent basis. The position will ideally be based from Centurion, Gauteng, but other locations in South Africa will be considered.
Your responsibility will include:
- Operating as the lead point of contact on major accounts
- Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships
- Develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new sales opportunities
- Forecast and track key account metrics
- Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory
- Prepare reports on account status
Ideally you should have:
- Proven work experience as a Software Solutions Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager or relevant role
- Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
- Solid experience with CRM software
- Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
- Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts in simple language that explains the business value
- BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales or relevant field
- Experience in GIS/Spatial software solutions will be highly desirable.
