A well-respected and progressive firm of chartered accountants in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town is recruiting for candidates wishing to commence the SAICA learnership programme.

The ideal candidate will be graduates and postgraduates who have completed an Accounting/Auditing degree at an accredited university. More junior candidates at the start of their tertiary qualification or in process thereof will also be considered, however very strong matric results will be required.

The firm is looking for self-confident individuals, who like to work as part of a team, but is also willing to take initiative and capable of working independently.

This firm of Chartered Accountants (SA) and Registered Auditors offer a variety of services with the aim of continuously looking for cost effective, value added solutions to their clients’ business needs. The firm is committed to provide an exceptional personal service with a personal approach.


  • BCom Accounting, B Accounting or similar degree
  • Matric with excellent grades
  • Computer literacy
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Driver’s license and own transport

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Produce client reports
  • Perform audit work
  • Complete tax returns
  • Finalise an audit file and propose an audit opinion
  • Manage personal performance
  • Work effectively in teams
  • Uphold ethics and values and act with integrity
  • Write clearly and succinctly
  • Set clear objectives and plan activities
  • Work productively and in a challenging environment
