This firm of Chartered Accountants (SA) and Registered Auditors offer a variety of services with the aim of continuously looking for cost effective, value added solutions to their clients’ business needs.
They are looking to employ a Quality Control Manager and the candidate should be a registered CA(SA) with a minimum of 2+ years’ post-articles experience in the firm environment.
Purpose of the role
Assist the Quality control partner of the firm with a list of duties – refer to the Key Duties and Responsibilities section.
Key duties and responsibilities
- Assisting Quality Control partner with:
- ISQM implementation
- Monitoring of professional standards manual compliance including network compliance reporting
- IRBA reporting
- IRBA & Network firm reviews
- Delivering inputs on technical guidance papers and related initiatives
- Participation in the firm’s ISQC 1 process for high-risk engagements
- Update of standard working papers and related templates
- Firm technical session preparation
- Assisting Firm Training and Development Officer with:
- Development of First Year Induction and Training
- Manager induction
- Training material and presentation as requested
- Core course training/acting as tutor on core courses
- Assisting with “VAC week” program when necessary
- Technical assistance to audit teams

Salary:
- R534,000 pa gross salary, negotiable depending experience.
