An established, but rapidly expanding transport and logistics business based in Bellville, Cape Town is seeking to employ 8 detailed orientated POD/Credit/Admin Clerks to join their financial operations team.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting the Creditors Team in managing Creditors book:
- Processing all pod, matching pod’s to correct load
- Maintaining a tracking schedule to ensure pod’s are received on a timely basis from transporters
- Receiving packages and scanning supplier invoices and pod
- Supplier reconciliation if required by the assistant accountant
- Requesting pod’s by means of emails and phone call
- Any other request by the Accountant or Assistant accountants
- Maintains historical records by filing documents.
- Telephone duties, this entail answering and directing calls.
- Any other ad hoc admin duties required.
Requirements:
- Matric is a must. Math and Accounting Subjects will be an added benefit.
- Credit clerk or finance or transport admin experience is amust.
Salary: R10000 to R13000/month basic salary dependant on skills and experience.
