Payroll Administrator

A well established and growing company in Somerset West is looking for a payroll administrator to join their team.

The company provides professional business services and has property operations.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1+ years’ experience in a similar role. Additional training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Weekly and Monthly payroll for a portfolio of clients
  • Preparing monthly EMP201
  • EMP501 report submission
  • Statutory reporting- SARS ETI UIF SDL, Workman’s compensation reporting
  • Ensuring all staff files are up to date and kept confidential at all times
  • Ensuring compliance with Labour legislation – minimum wage etc.
  • Ensuring compliance with EE
  • Issuing of payslips
  • All payroll reconciliations to be completed out of payroll system
  • Monthly reconciliations of the leave balances
  • Monthly journal prepared for the leave pay provision

Qualifications

  • Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Accounting / Finance a bonus, or
  • Qualified by experience

Experience and skills

  • 1+ years’ experience in similar role
  • HPeople, Sage Payroll, VIP knowledge
  • Sound payroll knowledge
  • Advanced computer literacy
  • Advanced MS Excel skills

Salary: R12,000 – R18,000 CTC pm, depending on experience and qualification
