A medium sized agriculture technology and services business bases in Stellenbosch is seeking to employ a Junior Financial Manager on a permanent basis.
This position will report directly to the Financial Manager and Director.
Requirements
- BCom Degree
- Completed Articles in one of the professional financial streams
- CIMA Qualified (or in progress)
- Cost accounting & standard cost principles essential
- Computer skills and extensive experience in Excel (beneficial)
Job Description
- Manage full debtors process
- Produce monthly management accounts
- Process relevant year-end journal entries
- Cashflow management and forecast
- Assist in annual budget compilation
- Oversee annual financial statements process
- Monthly VAT reconciliation
- Manage the SLA Process
- Manage outsourced activities
- Supplier reconciliation and negotiation HR Function:
- Legal documentation (Client Contract etc.)
- New employee onboarding
- KPA
- Performance Appraisals – salary increases
Salary: R25 – R35k /month basic salary, dependant on skill and experience
