Creditors / Accounts Payable Manager & Management Accountant

A large established logistics business based in Paarl, Western Cape is seeking to employ a Creditors Manager / Accounts Payable Manager / Management Accountant on a permanent basis.

The Creditors Manager will be responsible for running the full Credit Management Function and Department of this large and expanding business.

This is a great opportunity for a young to mid-level Creditors Accountant to make the step up to Creditors as well as business and management accounting.
This position will report directly to the business Finance Manager and will also be responsible for managing two Creditor Clerks.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Bookkeeping or any other relevant field.
  • Creditors or Debtors Accounting and Management experience is a must.
  • People management experience of at least 1 direct report.
  • Management accounting and reporting experience will be a major benefit, but it is not essential.
  • Creditors management within a business.
  • Experience within a logistics and or transport business will count in your favour.
  • Must be able to manage a large volume of transactions and claims every month.
  • High attention to detail and very good interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Salary - R27,000 to R35,000 / month, dependant on skills and experience.
