Our client, a leading company in the property industry, is seeking a Bookkeeper / Junior Accountant to join their dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a passion for finance and real estate to grow their career in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing day-to-day financial transactions and record-keeping.
- Process invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations.
- Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
- Assist with monthly reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Support in preparing management reports and financial statements.
- Help with VAT submissions, tax compliance, and statutory filings.
- Work closely with property managers and finance teams to ensure accurate financial data.
- Assist in processing tenant deposits, rental payments, and property expenses.
- Maintain an organized filing system for financial records and transactions.
- Assist with general administrative tasks related to bookkeeping and finance.
Requirements:
- Qualification in Accounting, Finance, or Bookkeeping (Diploma or relevant certification).
- 1–2 years of bookkeeping experience (preferably in the property industry).
- Knowledge of SAGE, Pastel, Xero, or other accounting software.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial procedures.
- Excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Salary: R15k – R22k p/month, dependant on skills and experience
