An established property management and construction business based in Somerset West is seeking to employ an experienced Bookkeeper / Accountant on a permanent basis.
The main objective of this role will be to run the full Finance & Accounting function up to trial balance for both their property management as well as construction divisions. other responsibilities will also include monthly (salaried) & weekly (wages) Payroll, Debtor & Creditors, VAT Calculations and Submissions and other Finance related tasks and administration.
This small but very established business is ideally looking for a office based professional that can work on their own as well as in a team.
Requirements
- Recognized formal Bookkeeper qualification is a must.
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting will be an added benefit, but not essential as the client will consider experience.
- At least 5 years experience in a similar role, but 10 or even more years will be ideal.
- Pastel software knowledge is a must
- Excellent administrative and communication skills
- Team player that can take responsibility for managing their own work load and output.
- Own transport
Salary - R25,000 to R35,000 per month, negotiable dependent on skills and experience.
