An established and fast-growing accounting services firm is recruiting a Professional Accountant to based in Somerset West, Cape Town.
The ideal candidate is a qualified SAIPA Professional Accountant / Associate General Accountant with a minimum of 2 years’ post article experience in an accounting or auditing practice.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and review workflow and deliverables
- Ensure timely receipt of tax and financial data
- Compile, review, and submit financial statements and tax returns
- Communicate with clients regarding progress, assessments, and SARS correspondence
- Provide tax planning consultations
- Manage tax affairs for assigned clients
- Respond professionally to SARS queries and notices
- Liaise with clients on financial and tax matters
- Stay current with accounting and tax developments (CPD)
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
- Manage time, budgets, and meet performance targets
- Management of junior accountants
Requirements:
- Accounting Degree or equivalent
- SAIPA Registered Professional Accountant with up-to-date CPD; or Associate General Accountant AGA(SA)
- Registered Tax Practitioner
- Independent Reviewer registration (will be beneficial)
- Minimum 2 years post-articles experience
- CaseWare & Xero Proficiency
Remuneration:
R30 000 – R40 000 per month, dependent on skills and experience.
